Standing Tall – Not out of pride but out of necessity.
This picture was taken during a rehearsal recently; not lost on me is the awesome honor and even more so, the awesome responsibility of being a person little eyes are always watching. Every day at CRT our staff’s hearts are dedicated to these tender young lives looking in earnest for a place to trust with their hopes and dreams, whatever those dreams may be. A safe place for their future to be fed and nurtured.
For the hour and a half a day we spend with them, every moment is an investment of encouragement and learning. For the chance to work with these wonderful kids, I will always strive to stand tall – I must, so they can climb on my shoulders and reach for their stars.
